Nuclear Decontamination Services (NDecS) founding members have been at the forefront of delivering nuclear decontamination services to Sellafield and the UK over past 20 years. We have built up a unique ‘Know How' Knowledge in the application of a wide range of both chemical and mechanical decontamination technologies.

Our extensive expertise allows us to give independent unbiased decontamination appraisals. These are supported by technical underpinning combined with ALARP and cost benefit justifications, through waste disposal recatogorisation.

An extensive portfolio (see past projects) in the safe delivery of the most extreme decontamination challenges, is evidence of this successful approach. It is underpinned by a unique in-depth understanding of critical parameters and compatibility issues when applying decontamination technologies in radiological environments.

We have set the standards in safety for the application of both Ultra High Pressure water jetting and chemical reagents for the clean up of process plants within Sellafield UK .

The founding members of NDecS are now recognized as the main specialists for the Decontamination and plant unblocking Services on the Sellafield site.

The experience allows NDecS to provide completely unbiased independent assessments of nuclear decontamination strategies, proposals, techniques and processes on behalf of our clients.
